Understanding the Love, Sacrifice, and Redemption Found in Jesus Christ
The phrase “In Him” comes directly from Scripture and is rooted in one of the most beautiful truths found in the Bible:
“For in Him we live and move and have our being.” Acts 17:28
But what does it actually mean to be “In Him”?
To understand that, we must first understand who Jesus is and why He came.
Created for Relationship
In the beginning, God created humanity to live in fellowship with Him. We were created in His image and designed to know Him, love Him, and walk with Him.
God’s desire has always been relationship.
Yet humanity chose its own way instead of God’s way.
The Bible calls this sin.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
Sin created a separation between God and mankind that we could never repair through our own efforts.
Why We Need a Saviour
No amount of good works, religious activity, kindness, or personal effort can remove sin.
God is perfectly holy and perfectly just.
Because He loves us, He made a way for us to be reconciled to Him.
That way is Jesus Christ.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
Jesus lived the perfect life we could never live.
He willingly went to the Cross and took upon Himself the penalty for our sin.
The Power of His Blood
Throughout Scripture, blood represents life.
When Jesus shed His blood on the Cross, He paid the price that we could never pay ourselves.
“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” Ephesians 1:7
His sacrifice was complete.
Nothing needs to be added to it.
Nothing can improve upon it.
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus opened the way for all who believe in Him to be forgiven, restored, and reconciled to God.
What Happens When We Believe?
When we place our faith in Jesus Christ:
We are forgiven.
We are redeemed.
We are adopted into God’s family.
We receive eternal life.
We become a new creation.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
This is what it means to be “In Him.”
Our identity is no longer defined by our past, our failures, our fears, or the opinions of others.
Our identity is found in Christ.
What Does Being In Him® Mean?
Because of Jesus:
In Him, I am Redeemed.
In Him, I am Chosen.
In Him, I am Strong.
In Him, I am Renewed.
In Him, I am Victorious.
In Him, I am Whole.
In Him, I am Secure.
In Him, I am Saved.
In Him, I am Enough.
These are not positive affirmations based on human effort.
They are biblical truths made possible through the finished work of Jesus Christ.
An Invitation
Perhaps you have never placed your faith in Jesus.
Perhaps you have wandered away and feel distant from God.
The good news is that Jesus is still calling people to Himself today.
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13

A Prayer of Salvation
Heavenly Father,
I come before You acknowledging that I am a sinner and that I need Your forgiveness.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died on the Cross for my sins, and that He rose again so that I may have eternal life.
Today I place my trust in Jesus alone as my Lord and Saviour.
Please forgive my sins, make me a new creation, and help me to follow You all the days of my life.
Thank You for Your grace, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love.
